Ready made curtains are an inexpensive means to brighten your room or caravan, but made to measure curtains can make a window subtle or dramatic with your own choice of fabric, also you have a choice of unlined, lined or interlined. It is normally better to have them lined as the curtains then tend to drape better. If you wish to keep out the sunlight, then blackout lining is the best choice. Interlining makes the curtains look more sumptuous.
You then have a choice of heading - caser (to slot onto a curtain pole), 3" or 6" pencil pleat, pinch pleat tape with or without buttons, goblet tape with or without buttons, eyelet curtains or popper tape for caravans.

Do you have a plain fabric but want something different. Have a bold contrast fabric down the leading edge or how about beading or fringing.
Ready made curtains limit your choice, open your horizons and choose made to measure for exactly what you want.

There are a large variety of pelmets styles whether you want minimalistic or opulent.
You can have a padded pelmet, straight or shaped to suit your fabric and room, or alternatively you can have a flag, heraldic. or box pleat pelmet, you just need your imagination.
Box pleat pelmets look best mounted on a board. Have the pelmet all in the same fabric or use contrast fabric, add cord or piping to make a more bold statement.
Valances can be straight or shaped, plain or trimmed with beads or fringing.
Bare wooden pelmets can be supplied to your dimensions for you to cover yourself, these can be supplied either plain for you to wallpaper or padded for you to cover with your own material.

The top and sides of wooden pelmets will be 20mm pine with the front being 6mm MDF.

This can be made in the fabric of your choice and almost any shape you require to suit your room.

Heraldic pelmet.This style can be very effective, yet does not use a lot of fabric.

You can choose to have all the same colour or contrast colours. Alternatively you can have the same shapes different sizes or all one size.

If you want it elaborate you can have them piped or a tassel on the bottom.

Roman blinds are great as an inexpensive simple solution to window dressing. They can be straight or shaped, with or without trim.
If you want to soften a window you can add curtains, valances or pelmets as well as your blind.
Roman blinds can be fitted either inside a window wooden frame or on the outside, the choice is yours, you also have the choice of pull system, typically chain or cord.

All blind supplied with fixtures and fittings to meet current safety regulations.

Want the hems of your curtains hand sewn - not a problem, just let me know. If your not sure about pleating your curtains, just ask and I'll do it for you, so all you have to do is put in the hooks and hang them & hey presto, job done.
